February 14th Homework

1) write a thoughtful evaluation of your 8 minute presentation
2) start working on your fifteen minute presentation- You will be giving this on Friday and Ms. Wilkinson and I will be grading these. The fifteen minute presentation will be worth 500 points.

Thank you Notes Amnesty

In the interest of raising grades, any student who has not turned in a thank you note, may bring one to me on Monday. The envelope must be properly addressed- in pen and it must be stamped to get the 200 points. This could make a big difference in your grade.

8 minute presentations-February 10

Come prepared to give an 8 minute presentation to your peer editing group. You must come with an engaging opening and the beginning information for your oral presentation. Read the rubric. Remember the oral presentation is a persuasive piece- you are arguing your answer to the essential question. You may not use note for the presentation. Bring a video camera if you have one.
